I started writing this blog because in the end I couldn’t not.  Its subject matter started out as somewhat narrowly defined – namely, sustainable travel and fossil fuel independence.  It soon became clear, though, that the question of sustainability can be applied to almost anything, simply because it addresses the way the present influences the future. Today’s lifestyle affects tomorrow’s opportunities.

I have a degree in Social Anthropology and a Masters in Environment and Development. I’ve lived in Berlin since June 2009 and work as a freelance blogger and writer.
