A native English freelance journalist and editor living in Berlin, I write about a range of topics, including (but not limited to) art and culture, architecture, literature, sustainability, responsible travel, and science-art crossover events.

The Horseshoe Nail is my blog – an outlet for personal and passionate opinions, reviews and articles. I’m a keen environmentalist and most blog posts are linked by an overarching theme of sustainability, although I also delve into other topics that I find inspiring or interesting.

I gave up flying in 2009 and have since been exploring the world overland. Watch this space for a detailed account of the story so far in my Sustainable Travel Journal, featuring inspiration and advice for sustainable trips throughout Europe and beyond.
